Corners have always posed a problem for installers, especially in older buildings where edges are rarely straight. Thermoforming allows a BioClad panel to be bent over a heat strip to the precise angle of a corner.
The panels are heated and then shaped into the required angles. This gives a smooth, easy to clean, seamless finishing detail between sheet and corner. Thermoforming has no detrimental effect on the structure of the BioClad panel and does not affect its antimicrobial integrity.
