When “The China” arrives to Liverpool without our friends onboard, Willy Fog’s friends of the Reform Club start believing he has lost the bet. The “Henrietta” arrives to the port of Liverpool completely destroyed after having burned everything on sights except the steel. When our friends prepare to take the train to London, which would have made them win the bet, Inspector Dix arrests Willy Fog as author of the robbery committed in the Bank of England. When they get to the bank, they find out that the true thief has been already arrested. Dix apologizes to Willy Fog but due to the time they have spent at the commissary, they loose the train. They convince the engineer of the train to take them to London as soon as possible. They all go to Willy Fog’s house very depressed because they have lost the bet.
