snagged an oxfuzz. friend loaned me his sunface nkt275 with sundial for comparison. two of the world's best fuzz pedals that sound surprisingly different. both are pretty much the best at what they do.
bias all the way back on both, volume on both at 75% (tweaked to match volume), fuzz knob at max on both. internal clean pot all the way back on sunface. both using identical alkaline 9v with matched voltage.
you hear clean sound first (with delay) then sunface, then oxfuzz, then back to sunface, then back to oxfuzz. sunface = bright and crisp, oxfuzz = dark and gritty.
