This video was made for GearBest, describing the failure on my Segway Ninebot ES2. Upon kicking the scooter to over 3kmh and then hitting the throttle, nothing happens.
Additionally, the front (drive wheel) is harder to push than usual, as if the regenerative braking is in effect.
The issue was diagnosed as being a failure in the H-Bridge MOSFETs, essentially the controller board is fried - GearBest have agreed to ship me a replacement board which should resolve the issue.
Original cause is likely to have been the regenerative braking when going downhill, with a full battery this means the controller is having to dump excess current and presumably, has nowhere to dissipate it, causing the failure of the MOSFET's.
