Been wanting to do this for a while. I plan to do 1000 armoury runs and 1000 crawmerax kills on stream and post highlights of drops on Youtube. My aim is to get a good idea of the drop rate for pearlescent gear and to collect as much of it as I can as well as try to get any of the rare eridian weapons.
I've been a fan of the borderlands games since the release of BL1 and have put many hours into the games, mostly on BL1 doing craw farming or armoury runs. As a bit of a baseline, I have done approximately 1500 runs of the armoury already and about 800-900 craw kills, I've received every single pearl except for the Jackal shotgun and the Bessie sniper. Over my entire BL1 career, I have never seen any of the blue, purple or legendary rarity of the eridian guns (compare this to the 40+ pearls I have found in this time) which makes finding them an unlikely goal for this undertaking as well.
