With the October 19th Scar's Kingdom update live, farming rare materials for crafting has become more essential than ever. Gameloft removed the ability to purchase crafted items from Scrooge without clearly stating it in the patch notes. That means, if I want more street lamps, gazebos and DJ booths I'm going to have to do a stupid amount of grinding. It's time to min max Disney Dreamlight Valley. I'm turning a casual, peaceful decorating game into an absolutely resource hungry grind fest so that I may eventually decorate a citycore zone for Wall-E.
I honestly hate that the devs made this change without clearly listing it in the patch notes. It was really shady of Gameloft to sneak that change in along with adding flashing despite thousands of players complaining of the lighting flashes? I don't know, I love this game, but this recent update pissed me off.
I'm going to make the best of it and use some unique spawn mechanics I have discovered to design an optimal resource farming route. The path will follow the best spots to gather gold and iron ore. It will force rare flowers, dry wood, dark wood, hardwood, and shard dig spots to spawn along the path.
This is a very large en-devour and I have not seen anyone else attempt it. If you are a content creator and decide to implement my spawn capture techniques, please link back to my channel. I am a pipsqueek on youtube and it would really help me out.
Please give the stream a thumbs to help other people find it and subscribe for more Disney Dreamlight Valley decorating, valley design inspo, biome tours and guides.
