You can use most perks for this; I chose arbiter because 1. knuckleboom makes it easier to commute to spots where guns spawn , 2. prevent any random third parties from scavs with knuckleboom's longshot, 3. if SQ lands too far, you can still cancel her knuckleboom by longshotting her, 4. can't be crippled, 5. 130 max hp.
The gun you find from RNG must fulfill 2 of the 3 requirements: Automatic, high Capacity, Low-Medium recoil.
NOTE about ADS: unlike most games, ADS movement speed in DW is the same as walking speed. So you should always ADS while moving backward when fighting SQ unless you are a perk with good hipfire or using a shotgun.
Ex of good SQ killing guns: All medium ammo guns except SKS, most SMGs except CBJ-MS and skorpion.
Ex of Mid tier guns: Avtomat, MAC10, SCAR-H (uses heavy), and ASh-12. These are good mag-dumping guns on paper, but I recommend them if you are good at controlling their recoil in fullauto.
Bad guns: all pistols but AJM, most long ammo guns, slow firing rifles like M14, most shotguns except aa12 are bad unless you have Paranoid trait. Caldwell would be bad unless you have S44 to reload it fast.
The main disadvantage on top of finding a good gun is that the lineup has to be nearly pixel-perfect, else it may miss or hit a guard. But it is possible to hit the knifes consistently with practice. This also doesn't work 100% of the time, so expect lots of retrying.

This is just one strategy to try of many others, such as Kira kiting, impatient KSGs, HIVE, HOLOs, Tick, Berserker, or the power of friendship &magic.
