Full employment continues to elude the U.S. even as pandemic restrictions continue to lift. Businesses are having difficulty staffing up for a variety of reasons, despite some people having been out of work for the long term since COVID-19 began to spread.
Rep. Andy Levin (D-Mich. 9th District) joined Cheddar to discuss his Long-Term Unemployment Elimination Act, legislation he hopes will help state and local workforce boards connect workers with prospective employers with the aid of subsidies.
