One of the interesting things with Linux desktop notifications is that they are not permanently saved anywhere on your system. Well, with some Google-fu and some minor configuration file edits, we can have our desktop notifications automatically save to a log file that we can read anytime we want.
THE CONFIGS:
► [ Ссылка ] - The original script seen in this video
► [ Ссылка ] - An updated version of the script
► [ Ссылка ]
► [ Ссылка ]
NOTE:
Apparently, when the original notify-log script is running as a background process, it only output the DATE for when the script actually started running. This issue was reported on my GitLab ( [ Ссылка ] ). I have since implemented some changes as suggested in the GitLab thread. There are still some minor bugs. Read the issue on GitLab for more information.
