On the International Day of Peace Rotaractors & Interactors of District 7030 in the Caribbean were invited to engage in a workshop addressing cyberspace solutions to cyberspace issues including Cyber bullying and Cyber grooming. The workshop addressed the power that we all have to use technology in peacebuilding and to tackle issues within our community.
The 2021 theme for the International Day of Peace is “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world” and the UN invited everyonoe on this day to “Celebrate peace by standing up against acts of hate online and offline, and by spreading compassion, kindness, and hope in the face of the pandemic, and as we recover”.
In celebrating International Day of Peace and it’s theme, Rotary District 7030 believes in your power as young persons in our region to bring about a sustainable and equitable world!
