2023 IM L7 Elite is the long range version of the luxurious electric sedan. Alibaba-backed marque's latest EV can produce 340 HP and 475 Nm of torque.
Electric sedan is equipped with a 90-kWh battery pack supplied by CATL. The highest DC charging rate is 140 kW.
IM L7 Elite price is around €45,800, or in China.
IM Motors manufactures its electric vehicles at Lingang factory in Shanghai, China.
IM L7 is one of the first mass-production electric vehicle that supports wireless charging. The company offers an optional package for wirelessly charging the IM L7. The wireless charging speed is the same as on-board charger, which is 11 kW.
The IM L7 is an electric sedan powered by a dual-motor four-wheel-drive system that can churn out 425kW and has a max torque of 725 Nm. Equipped with a 93kWh ternary lithium battery, the sedan can accelerate from rest to 100km/h in 3.87 seconds and has a cruising range of 615km.
There are two trims of the L7 set for delivery; the L7 Pro and the L7 Dynamic. They will be fitted with the IM AD intelligent driving system, which uses 12 ultrasonic radars, 15 high-definition visual cameras, 11 high-definition perception cameras, and five millimeter-wave radars. Other driver-assist functions include; lane change warning, side rear approach warning, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking.
This technology allows whole body charging, unlike other wireless EV charging method that requires a specific area of the vehicle underbody to be aligned with the wireless charging pad.
