3 simple and easy rules to write names for acids.
First, Identify the anion
Then, write its name but change the ending to its corresponding acid ending
"-ite" becomes "-ous"
"-ate" becomes "-ic"
"-ide" becomes "hydro -ic"
Finally add "acid" at the end of the name
