In the 1st episode of Rotterdam Walks we invite you to explore the exceptional architecture of the city - the second-largest city in the Netherlands - which you can easily explore in 1 day travel. We will visit the Markthal designed by MVRDV - a unique residential and office building with a market hall underneath. Then we will walk to discover unbelievable Cube Houses by Piet Blom where each house represents a tree, and all the houses together, a forest.
In this part we will see also The Central Library, The Red Apple, The Oudehaven (The Old Port) and will do the promenade along The Nieuwe Maas - a distributary of the Rhine River. Let's go!
