Hiking Motivation at Connemara National Park. One of six national parks in Ireland that are managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. It is located in the west of Ireland within County Galway.
Some 7000 acres of mountains, bogs, heaths and grasslands, with wildlife and scenic walking trails.
Diamond Hill at only 442 meters, does not rank as an Arderin, or a Vandeleur-Lynam; however, it has the prominence to rank as a Marilyn.
