The entire video was filmed in Tasmania, Australia, with a significant portion fittingly set amidst the mournful atmosphere of a secluded Cemetery.

Melancholic metal group, Lost in Desolation, returns after years of silence with their latest opus, “Sere”. With this new release, they’ve ventured beyond their depressive black metal roots, creating a sound that is as elegant as it is heavy - a fusion of melodic doom and classical grandeur.

Embark on a journey through sound and emotion, where each track offers a unique experience meandering through twists and turns that will leave an impact long after the final notes fade away. From the soaring sadness of atmospheric metal to the beautiful stillness within the softer movements, the album weaves together a medley of contrasts. Subtle elements of Post-Rock, Electronica, and Black Metal. The lyrics are a meditation on loss and grief, a eulogy for the departed, with but a small glimmer of solace occasionally shining through.

Lost in Desolation has invited several guests to contribute to the album, each one elevating Lost in Desolation’s music to new heights, creating a soundscape that is both dark and beautiful.
