Members of the #opposition (PDP) in the House of #Representatives on Friday staged a walkout during consideration of the #Electoral Act #Amendment Bill following refusal by the presiding chairman, Ahmed Idris #Wase to revisit #clause 52 by dividing the House.
The Minority #Caucus led by its leader, Hon. Ndudi #Elumelu said the caucus is totally disappointed with the Deputy #Speaker, as well as the #NCC team who they said told blatant lies about not having adequate #network coverage to enable #electronic transmission of #results.
Speaking one after the other, the Minority Caucus said they are happy that #Nigerians saw the illegal passage of the controversial clause in the Electoral #Act amendment bill.
