Zihark is awesome. I could end the description there, but I’ll go into more detail. His skill, Adept, is one of the best in the game. Gaining an extra attack, especially with the brave sword, where you get 4 swings in, is very powerful. Pair that with his Mastery Skill, Astra, and he essentially has 4 chances to activate it! And what does Astra and Adept proc on you ask? Oh, just his two best stats, Skill and Speed, no big deal. Zihark is also so fun to record because all his fights are over so quick and you never know what kind of combination between Adept, Astra, Crit, etc. will occur.

The unit with the higher base speed will initiate first. (If unit has Shade or Stillness they will always choose who goes first). If both units have the same speed, the unit whose video it is will go first.

For weapons, the unit who is faster chooses the weapon they want the unit they are attacking gets to choose a weapon to counter them with. The unit who attacks first, goes through all the possible weapon combinations and picks whatever situation would give them the best chance at victory. After the initial turn, the only time a unit can change their weapon is on their turn.
