Hey guys, today I am going to be having a look at the history of merching clans in runescape. Merchanting clans first started getting popular right around the release of the grand exchange in 2007.

These clans worked on the principal of creating artificial demand for an item, then dumping the item when the price was high. No these clans were infamous for being very shady, and even against the game rules. So where are they today and do they still exist?

Today I am going to look the the history of merching clans, how they worked and why you should never join one!
