The new 2022 GL8 ES includes many of the design and technology enhancements the GL8 Avenir family introduced. In this sense, its exterior has a more elegant appearance due to the new Buick winged grille, with a unique finish, and the new Matrix LED headlights. Its cabin maintains the 2+2+3 three-row seating layout while incorporating new convenience features and Buick eConnect 3.0 connectivity technology with up to three optional displays.
The new GL8 ES is equipped with Buick’s most advanced eConnect 3.0 connectivity system, which includes a 12.3-inch floating center console touchscreen, head-up display (HUD), and streaming mirror. The system supports over-the-air updates for nine key vehicle control modules such as the infotainment system, OnStar, and intelligent driving system, and offers enhanced voice recognition capability and personalized functionality through in-vehicle apps.
