This workshop session is part of the Russian Flagship Teacher Training Workshops at Indiana University held in April 2021.
Led by Anna Tumarkin, Russian Language Program Director and Undergraduate Advisor in the Department of Slavic Languages at University of Wisconsin-Madison, this session explores how proficiency-based assessments can be used to inform student learning, instruction, and curriculum development. Participants examined several types of proficiency-based assessments and discussed how assessments can be used not only to report learning outcomes, but also to enhance teaching and learning in their programs.
