Several Campion College students gathered in Central Station in Sydney to sing the Christmas lullaby Coventry Carol, "Lully Lulla Lullay" in honour of the sanctity of life and in solidarity with the unborn against the NSW abortion bill being debated in the NSW Parliament this month. The group singing is St Philomena's Choir, a pro-life initiative comprised of Campion students and others, and is open to join.
Background: The carol is a fictional lullaby sung by the mothers of the doomed children who King Herod ordered to be killed in what is now known as the Slaughter of the Innocents. Herod ordered that all male infants under the age of two in Bethlehem be murdered in an attempt to kill the Christ-child shortly after He was born.
