The Gunlock Falls in St. George, Utah is amazing! The red rocks contrasted with the blue sky and beautiful water are beautiful. We had a great time hiking up, on, around, and through all the different waterfalls cascading down the red rock face.

When we got to the Gunlock Reservoir we found a really cool crawdad. Benny saved the day by catching it on Jake's shoe and throwing it back in the water. The kids had fun swimming, building sand castles (or Chichen Itza in Sam's case), and we all enjoyed the beautiful views.

When we finished at the reservoir, we thought it would be fun to go cliff-jumping in one of the pools we saw earlier that day. There was a large group of people jumping at the first pool we were thinking of doing cliff jumping, but we found another pool that we thought would work. Dad checked the depth of the pool to make sure it was deep enough. It was! We had a blast jumping off the cliffs multiple times. Sam hit the wall one time, but thankfully it was slick and did not hurt him at all.

Afterwards, we drove up to Veyo where they have the Veyo Volcano and got Veyo pies. We took them to our cousins and enjoyed eating them together. It was a fantastic day!
