I Install the Spotify App on my Garmin Vivoactive 4 smartwatch and give you a complete tutorial on the setup, music controls, how to download playlists, podcasts and show how to quickly and easily pair headphones to get you started using Spotify on your Garmin watch. Spotify on your Garmin vivoactive is a great way to listen to music and it even allows you to download it to your smart watch so when going for a run, walk or exercising you can leave your phone at home.
I walk you through getting Spotify installed on your smartwatchusing the Garmin Connect App and Garmin IQ app, connecting your Spotify account, downloading and syncing music and showing you tips and tricks on the music controls. I even show you how to create a shortcut or widget to quickly access your music on your Vivoactive Garmin watch. Playing music from your Garmin watch will drain the battery faster.
NOTE: In order to use spotify on your Garmin Vivoactive watch it does require that you have a Spotify Premium account. You will also need a smartphone paired and access to wifi to successfully complete downloading music playlists and podcasts. You do not need to have a laptop or computer for this process.
If you don’t have a Spotify Premium account, Spotify does run FREE trials of their premium service and its worth trying because its convenient having music right on your wrist that you can send to your bluetooth headphones.
