1. Sock Puppets

You'll Need:

- cardboard
- glue
- clothespins
- white & red felt
- wool
- googly eyes

Here's How:

1.1 Trace around your hand on a piece of cardboard.

1.2 Fold the cardboard at the point where your palm meets your fingers and cut out the outline.

1.3 Place the folded piece of cardboard on the toe end of the sock and cut the sock along the cardboard.

1.4 Open the cut sock and place the cardboard inside.

1.5 Coat the outer edge of cardboard with glue and glue the sock to it. Use clothespins to fix the fabric in place until it dries. 

1.6 Cut 2x 1-inch wide strips of white felt in a jagged shape that will serve as the teeth of the sock puppet. Glue the strips to the sock fabric that is glued to the cardboard.

1.7 Cut an oval from the red felt so it covers the remaining space and glue it to the remaining cardboard.

1.8 Decorate with googly eyes and two small red felt circles for the nostrils.

1.9 Finally, sew some wool to the top for hair. You can also make different kinds of animals – this lion looks deceptively real, right? The sky is the limit, so feel free to experiment!

2. Stuffed Snake

You'll Need:

- multiple socks (depending on the desired length)
- needle & thread
- ribbon
- fiber fill
- googly eyes

Here's How:

2.1 Cut off the toe and heel sections of all the socks, except for two.

2.2 Turn the socks inside out and sew them together.

2.3 Cut off the heel section of one of the remaining socks, turn it inside out, and sew it to the end.

2.4 Turn the entire stuffed snake right side out, tuck the toe part of the end sock in, and sew a piece of ribbon to the middle.

2.5 Stuff the entire snake with fiber fill. Cut off the heel section of the last uncut sock and sew it to the open end of the snake to seal the stuffed animal.

2.6 Decorate with googly eyes and your new friendly pet is ready to cuddle.

3. Sock Horse

You'll Need:

- 1 sock
- fiber fill
- brown and beige felt
- googly eyes
- wool
- cord
- broomstick
- duct tape

Here's How:

3.1 Stuff a sock with fiber fill.

3.2 Cut two ear-shaped pieces out of the brown felt.

3.3 Fold the ears in and sew one ear on either side of the heel section of the sock.

3.4 Cut two small circles from the beige felt and glue them to the front of the sock for nostrils.

3.5 Add the googly eyes.

3.6 Wrap some wool around your fingers, tie the bundle together, cut the bundle in half, and sew the bundle between the ears for the horse's mane.

3.7 Stick the broomstick inside the sock and secure with duct tape. Tie a cord around the nostrils for the bridle and secure it to the broomstick.

4. Cuddly Caterpillar

You'll Need:

- 1 plush sock
- fiber fill
- rubber bands
- pipe cleaner
- googly eyes

Here's How:

4.1 Stuff a fuzzy sock with fiber fill and section it off with rubber bands.

4.2 Decorate the first sock with googly eyes.

4.3 Wrap the pipe cleaner behind the "head" (first sock ball) and slightly curl the ends. Placed in a houseplant, this fluffy caterpillar looks really cute!

5. Soft Kitty

You'll Need:

- 3 plush socks
- fiber fill
- 2 pearl buttons
- black yarn
- bonded nylon thread

Here's How:

5.1 Turn the first sock inside out and draw a wavy line on both sides. Sew along the line to seal the sides together.

5.2 Cut off the excess material along the sewn-together wavy line.

5.3 Cut a hole in the bottom of the sock.

5.4 Turn the sock inside out, stuff it with fiber fill, and sew the hole shut – this will be the body of the cat.

5.5 Turn the second sock inside out, draw a semicircle around the toe section, and sew along the line. 

5.6 Cut off the excess material.

5.7 Cut this section off.

5.8 Turn the sock inside out, stuff it with fiber fill, and sew the hole shut – this will be the cat's head.

5.9 Turn the third sock inside out, trace along the heel section, sew along the line, and cut this section off – this will be the cat's tail.

5.10 Sew the head to the body.

5.11 Sew the tail to the body.

5.12 Finally, give the kitten a face by sewing the buttons on for eyes. Create the nose and mouth with black thread and stick pieces of nylon thread in the face to create whiskers.
