In this short video, Glenn Hutchins (Business Development Manager, North) highlights our QIF Insulated Fire Sleeve. This product prevents the spread of fire where combustible (plastic) and non-combustible (metal) pipes penetrate fire compartment walls and floors.

The QIF Fire Sleeve is available in a variety of sizes to suit pipe diameters as small as 15mm and as large 160mm. One of the main benefits of this product is its insulation properties. It has a thick profile and is made from a fibrous material infused with intumescent.

It has been tested in a variety of applications such as directly to a plasterboard or rigid wall, in conjunction with QuelStop fire batt and through floors. It has also been approved for use with Lubrizol CPVC sprinkler systems.
