All actions in this life are preceded by the mind. Mind is their chief. Our mind is like an untamed bull. The nature of this mind is that it is always chasing after worldly pleasures, always jumps to the evil side, creates evil thoughts, and gets distracted easily. Therefore, our Great Teacher the Supreme Buddha taught us how to tame this mind. When an untamed bull sees a corn farm, he will jump to the farm and eat as much as he wants. But if the farmer observes the farm always, he will get rid of the ox as soon as the ox arrives. Likewise, if we guard our mind, when unwholesome thoughts come to our mind we can bring our mind to the wholesome side by thinking about the danger of having evil thoughts. For example, if you have an evil thought like lust, hatred, or desire and if you die at that moment our supreme buddha said that we will be born in 4 bad destinations. Therefore, my dear Dhamma friends, let's try to tame our monkey minds.
