The housing board has launched nearly 5,500 new flats across five projects in Bedok, Kallang/ Whampoa, Serangoon and Tengah. The Build-to-Order units are expected to see high demand. A big draw: About 90% of them have a wait time of less than four years to complete, with a median of about three years and five months. August's BTO exercise will see some 6,700 new flats in Choa Chu Kang, Tengah, Kallang/Whampoa and Queenstown. November's will offer some 6,300 flats in areas like Jurong West, Woodlands, Bishan and Queenstown.
