Three years ago, former U.S. President Donald Trump declared Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a foreign terrorist organization.

The controversial listing effectively banned anyone with past or present ties from stepping foot on American soil.

Since then, many Iranian-Canadians have been blacklisted from the U.S.

Iranian-Canadians who have been deemed inadmissible to the United States report being detained, interrogated and denied entry to other countries in the years and months afterward.

Many have observed an American security code, 'SSSS,' stamped on their boarding passes.
