The Killers' Mr. Brightside is a modern classic - even if it does owe a little bit too much to David Bowie.
But it's a bugger to play accurately for a few reasons:
1. It's played on a guitar tuned a 1/2 step flat
2. It's played way up the neck, making it tricky on your average acoustic
3. It incorporates open strings and an odd arpeggiated form that makes it quite non-intuitive
Basically, it sounds easier than it is!
