Happy New Year rock fans and rock creators. This is one of many customed painted rocks for clients Christmas gifts, Two Turtle Doves. I used HIMI(him-e) gouache(goo-aash) paints, and heavy gesso as basecoat. Whenever using watercolor paints on the rocks be sure to use a spray sealer, then let dry for at least 2 hours before brushing on a heavy sealer or resin so that the paint does not smear.
