Educational goals:
Racial disparities in health persist despite decades of research attention to unequal health outcomes in minoritized populations. This talk increases the participant’s awareness of racist ideas, including a reflection on how ideas about race have contributed to unequal treatment of racialized minorities in medicine and healthcare. An anti-racist perspective is presented.
