The big stars of the day, of course, were in the spotlight on the auction stage! The top-selling car on Saturday (and of the entire auction) was a 1979 Porsche 928 used as the “hero car” in the film “Risky Business.” The crowd went wild when the iconic car sold for $1.98 million – making it the highest-selling Porsche 928 ever sold at auction. Other incredible vehicles landing in the Top 10 on the last day of Barrett-Jackson’s very first Houston Auction included two stunning 2019 Ford GTs (a Lightweight model that sold for $1,199,000 and a Liquid Blue example that brought in $1,001,000).
