Today we offer a delicious recipe to take the delicate taste and texture of the humble prawn / shrimp and lift it with a delicate yet amazingly flavoured sauce that compliments the prawns as well as fully satisfying even the most discerning of tastebuds. A small word of caution, if the sauce develops a few small lumps while making – don’t worry, get the consistency right then drain through a sieve and press the lumps through. The end result won’t be impaired. These are delicious served alone or with rice. Quantities here are for 2 portions.
Ingredients:-
500 g Prawns / Shrimps, peeled de-veined and butterfly (or use frozen but reduce weight)
2 Red Chillies, de-seeded and diced
3 cloves Garlic minced
2 Tbsp Butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
Juice of ½ Lemon
1 cup White Wine
1 cup Cream
1 good pinch of parsley
