Torture and capital punishment are main human rights violations. The European Parliament has been in the lead to ban exports and advertisement of goods that can be used for torture and capital punishment. We made trade policy more coherent with our values - a rare success. But we can be better: We should ban all Europeans from advertising for such goods even outside of the EU.
