in episode 13, Jeff takes over as the editor of the school newspaper "The Greendale Gazette Journal Mirror." Annie mentions that she edits the crossword. "And because I love crosswords." At the end of episode 14, Troy and Abed are doing a crossword based on the study group presumably written by Annie.
