In San Diego's comic con it was announced what villains will the Legends of Tomorrow face in season 2 and it is Legion of Doom! If you're ignorrant as I was of what Legion of Doom is ,here's some info:
The Legion of Doom is a group of supervillains led by Lex Luthor that originated in Challenge of the Super Friends, an animated series from Hanna-Barbera based on DC Comics' Justice League. The Legion of Doom has since appeared in other animated programs and has been adapted in published comic books. hTe infamous Legion of Doom will be cosisted of some very familiar faces: Reverse-Flash (to again played by The Flash‘s Matt Letscher), Captain Cold (Legends‘ Wentworth Miller), Malcolm Merlyn aka the Dark Archer (Arrow vet John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (Arrow‘s Neal McDonough). Letscher will be a series regular on Legends Season 2, while McDonough will recur. Miller and Barrowman recently signed groundbreaking deals where they are series regulars across all of The CW’s superhero shows.
“For Season 2 of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of Super Heroes would be TV’s first-ever team of Super-Villains,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim said in a statement, “recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries. Being huge fans of the Challenge of the Superfriends, we’ve come to call this group our ‘Legion of Doom.’”
My opinion about this!! On the one hand, it'll be exciting to see those 4 familiar faces team up (i can't even imagine those four working together xD) and it's gonna be fun to see them interact with the Legends team but on the other hand there are some cons in this idea as I think about it. First of all Malcolm isn't as evil as Reverse Flash and Damien Darhk in my opinion and he has fought many times on the good side. My biggest problem is Leonard... They spent the whole first season transforming Leonard and bringing him to the good side and making him a hero by dying to save the team, as heartbreaking for the fans as this may was. Now they are going to take a version of Leonard that never went with the rest of the team to save the world,never died for the team,never fell in love with Sara and he's gonna be fighting the Legends team?????? It just doesn't feel right in my point of view..
