What is EPOS Scholarship?
EPOS is a German abbreviation for Entwicklungsbezogene Postgraduiertenstudiengänge, which means Development-Related Postgraduate Courses in English. It is a scholarship program that is offered by DAAD to support students from developing countries, the goal is to enable scholars to acquire qualifications and skills that will potentially drive development in their home countries.
Eligible Countries for the EPOS Scholarship
The list of eligible countries is curated by the Development Assistance Committee of OECD (Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development) and they are 135 in total with all 54 countries in Africa, 18 in North & Central America, 10 in South America, 35 in Asia, 14 in Oceania, 4 in Europe including Albania, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine.
Is there an age limit?
No, but the latest academic degree should not be older than 6 years.
