One of the attractions of free diving in the Knysna Heads in the Garden Route is diving on the Paquita Wreck. The best time to dive on the wreck is from an hour before the high tide to maximize the clean incoming ocean water, which is also the slowest current in the channel.
On this dive we were fortunate to encounter a large shoal of White Steenbras and a Yellowbelly Rockcod over the wreck.
