Beyoncé is threatening legal action against former President Donald Trump after her music was used by his campaign. In a now deleted video posted to X by Trump's campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung, the singer’s song “Freedom” was included over video of the former president walking off a plane in Michigan. According to a Rolling Stone report, the “Cowboy Carter” singer did not give the campaign permission to use the song and has threatened to send a cease-and-desist. The song has recently become associated with Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign after Beyoncé gave her campaign permission to use it.
