Cancer spreads in two main ways: through the blood (hematogenous spread) and through the lymph nodes (lymphadenitis).
In the first, cancer cells enter the bloodstream, traveling to other parts of the body. In the second, they use the lymphatic system to reach nearby lymph nodes.
Cancer cells can also invade nearby tissues and organs, contributing to the overall spread of the disease.
