RSPB Middleton Lakes welcomes thousands of people onto their beautiful, natural reserve every year, and for this reason, they required a visitors welcome and information centre. Due to the natural environment, the chosen building had to blend into the surroundings but still be striking enough to attract visitors. With a passion for sustainability and a powerful eco-policy, Green Retreats seemed to be the perfect choice for the RSPB.
