I'll compare a few aging stadium that have undergone stadium renovations similar to the LA Coliseum. These stadiums chose to build their luxury boxes away from existing stadium seating keeping the original look of their bowl structure. Due to certain LA Coliseum preservation ordinances, this is probably the reason they chose their Scholarship Tower to be built inside and on top of stadium seating/bowl.
