After taking apart most of the interior I decided to take a proper look at the condition of the floor. It needs a few patches, but overall the condition isn't too bad for a 36 years old car that has spent all of its life in the harsh northern climate...

This car is a 1986 Volvo 740 GL with the B200K engine. It was originally automatic, but at some point someone converted it to 5-speed manual (the M47 gearbox). I've owned this Volvo since april 2020 and have used it as a daily driver every now and then. It is currently waiting for repairs so I can get it through the inspection and back on the road.
