How to forage and dye with abundant curly dock seeds (type of buckwheat), a summertime favourite wildcrafting dyer. It can be found from city streets to farmyards and produces a range of colours including deep browns, oranges and yellows. For mordants, I used alum (aluminum sulfate) at 16% weight of fiber (WOF) and iron at 6% weight of fiber (WOF).
