From May 1 to June 2, Pakistan-backed terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir have shot dead 9 people in targeted killings. The victims have been local policemen, Hindu and Sikh govt workers as well as non-locals working in the valley. Labourers from outside the state have also been targeted with an aim to stall various projects. After the removal of Article 370 nearly two-and-a-half years ago, targeted killings have emerged as the biggest challenge for the government.
