Ingredients of Petai Paratha:
- 2cups all purpose flour (or maida)
- salt
- 1/2tbs sugar
- oil
Method of Petai Paratha:
- To make the dough take maida, salt, sugar & 2tbs oil in a mixing bowl. Mix everything together. Add water & make a semi soft dough. Grease the dough with some oil. Cover & rest for 20 mins.
- Check the dough after 20 mins & knead again for sometime. Divide the dough into equal parts.
- Grease the rolling board & rolling pin with some oil. Take a dough ball & roll as thin as possible. Apply some oil & dust some dry flour on rolled roti. Cut from a corner & fold as shown on video. Now press it flat & roll into a thin roti.
- Heat a tawa & place the roti in it. Cook for few seconds. Flip & cook the other side for few seconds. Add oil & fry till golden brown. Take out & crush the paratha immediately as shown on video. Make all the parathas in this way.
- Your Petai Paratha is ready to serve.
