Today i'm going to show you how to setup the Eightree smart plug with the smart life app
First download and install the smart life app.
So go to playstore
And type smart life in the search box.
Now tap install.
It will take a few seconds for the app to be installed.
Once installed open the app.
Tap Agree.
Now login or sign up to an account if you don't have one.
I already have an account so will just login.
So i will enter my username and password.
Then agree to privacy policy.
then login
I will allow the app to send me notifications.
Then tap "Got it"
Now to add your smart plug tap on "Add device"
Allow the app to access your device's location.
So tap continue.
Then select "While using the app"
Now select Socket (Wi-Fi)
And enter your wifi details
Make sure you're using 2.4Giga Hertz wifi as you can't connect the smart plug to 5 Giga hertz wifi
Now tap Next.
Now power on your smart plug.
Then tap next
Now tap and hold the power button on the smart plug for 5 seconds
The power button should start blinking rapidly.
Mine is now blinking rapidly
So i will tap next
now confirm the indicator is blinking then tap next
Now select Blink quickly.
It will take few seconds for the registration to complete.
Now tap done.
