Here's how to rank up really fast using the Gun Game mode, works best with people in the lobby that don't progress fast in the game.

Get normal kills through the guns to Dual Magnums (16), then run around stabbing until the next player is at 15 (14 if there are multiple players at 14).
I will always stab if in doubt of CQB and I can't get a normal gun kill (like reloading Kastet or Panzerfaust).

Doing this averages 15,000XP a game.
