The Government is planning to allocate part of Kyambogo University land to an Investor. President Yoweri Museveni has written to the ministry of Education to expedite the process. The Education Minister Jessica Alupo has confirmed that Megha Industries wants to be allocated about 5 hectares of University land for its expansion. The Minister was today appearing before the social service committee of parliament and also revealed plans to recruit 2300 teachers for secondary schools this financial year.
