Btw. I'm using a Quiet skin mod - it's only cosmetic :) I'm actually wearing Sneaking Suite with Balaclava head gear under the cosmetic model.
====== WALKTHROUGH IN WORDS=========
I thought to put this up cause I've found that people are still having some problems with this mission - specially with the side objective: "Extracted Dr Emmerich without him taking damage". And this all without any extra hassle. Plain, simple and easy. Remember that you can use checkpoints as much as you like in this mission :)

This mission consist two parts: 1) "Extract Emmerich" and 2) "Sahelanthropus boss fight". I would suggest you take D-Horse as your buddy especially for the final part of the mission where you confront Sahelanthropus and run away from him instead of fighting. For weapons - take tranquilizer guns with suppressors. You will always start at Serak Power plant. From there you need to advance towards Afghanistan Central Base Camp where Emmerich is doing his research.

Instead of going there by foot just send yourself as a post package to the Central Base Camp. In Serak Power plant you need to take down 4 soldiers before that. Be also aware of the Gunship circling around the skies. Hit the ground when Miller says so and crawl.

After you arrive Central Base Camp (post package) head straight to the location where Emmerich is. He is always at the same building - the furthest building from you. Tranquilize enemies you encounter on the way there (3 soldiers) - if there is a walker gear blocking your way, wait patiently or shoot a tranquilizer round to the drivers butt.

When you meet up with Emmerich skip the cinematics and don't take the walker gear even thought Ocelot and Emmerich insists. Carry Emmerich towards the Landing Zone Miller has assigned for extraction. Take out the enemy soldiers while advancing (2 soldiers - one sniper top of a building and a guard on his post on the main road).

When you get closer to the Landing Zone, enemies on the main road will focus their fire towards your arriving helicopter (poor Pequod). Take the clueless enemies down (there should be 3 or 4 soldiers). After you enter the Landing Zone skip the cinematics where Sahelanthropus makes his entrance. When you are back in control -- rush immediately between the legs of Sahelanthropus to the other side.

Now you have two options: Doesn't matter which one you chose but remember to assign a new Landing Zone over the one Miller assigned (again) -- the furthest one from you.

Option 1) Traditional off road version: You can put Emmerich back of your D-Horse and rush to the landing zone. Doing this you must stay off road and out of sight which is sometimes challenging due the 'unpredictable' horse behavior specially when you encounter obstacles with your horse.

Option 2) Easy "main road version" which I did in the video: Lay Emmerich carefully down next to the concrete wall behind Sahelantropus legs and take a small detour. This part is easy cause by some magic there is not a single enemy trooper in the outpost.

Hop on the saddle of D-Horse and ride back -- towards the building where you met Emmerich. While riding shoot couple rounds towards Sahelanthropus to make sure he follows -- and oh boy -- he will follow you :) Just enjoy how the big Mecha stomps the ground and look all the details he has.

Now it's time to shake him off - go for example around a building and again rush between his legs. Ride back to Emmerich to the concrete wall. Load Emmerich on D-Horse and now you can follow the main road without a worry. And there's no need to go offroad.

When Miller says: "Stay alert. You're not out of the woods yet" -- you know you've shaken the Sahelanthropus off. At this point Sahelanthropus will launch 6 drones to track you down. You know it when Miller says "Get behind something".

Continue riding with D-Horse towards the Landing Zone. When you're getting closer to the Landing Zone Miller gives a warning: "Boss, hide!" At this point check your surroundings: If you see a drone scanning with a laser -- hug your horse to hide yourself meanwhile advancing forward. At this point you should have reached the Landing Zone and the drones should be facing away from you with their lasers.

Now we enter to the crucial part of the mission: There is only one door open in the helicopter and you will be forced to go through the strictly scripted part of the mission after you have loaded Emmerich and yourself to the chopper.

When you are sitting in the chopper grab the Minigun. Sahelantropus will make a big jump and he will launch 6 drones from his backpack. Shoot the drones down before they attack the helicopter and cause an injury to Emmerich.

Once you've destroyed the drones Sahelantropus wil make his final move. He leaps dramatically towards you and the helicopter and meanwhile you will enter hi-speed camera mode. At this point you get to destroy the Sahelanthropus.
